Hey Kris,

I'm just now stumbling on your video resume project. This is the second post I've seen but this caught my eye:

"IT is a Windows world, and I’m going to make my video resume on a PC so help me God."

It is a bigger challenge, and probably a more relevant challenge to do it on a PC. You know we're all Mac's here at Cantaloupe, and I actually shot my first video by myself for our blog using the iSight on my MacBook and iMovie. It was surprisingly easy.

If you want to check it out: http://blog.cantaloupe.tv/blog/cantaloupe-tv/0/0/backlight-tip-choosing-your-video-seo-keywords

Good luck. I'm going to keep reading.

Hi Charles, thanks for visiting. I'm definitely going to check out your site, and hopefully refer to some of your tips. Are you up for any further critique, guest posting/commentary on this topic? I really value a professional's opinion even though I'm trying to do this as a DIY ;)

Good job. I do these professionally, see my tips for DIY'ers on our site. Definitely the lapel mike is the way to go, and don't worry about stereo! It's all about getting a clean sound. I also talk about lighting, which is more important that the camera used. Good luck everyone!
