Over the next five years some of the bigger players Microsoft, SAP and Salesforce might buy up some of their smaller rivals to build into their suites. We could also be seeing more mobile-friendly applications, which maximize data access and timeliness. Adobe’s AIR is another emerging technology using offline web applications that can be run online or off, making computing more powerful
